INTO THE WOODDS

Branding, design, photography and creative direction across print, marketing and online graphics for Into The Woods The Musical.

We’ve been working with Sound Ideas Theatre Company from the very beginning. Over time we have evolved the visual identity graphically and through brand guidelines that we have established across their entire work and range of designs.
Sound Ideas is a Norwich based theatre company that strives to create new and unique interpretations of some of our most loved musicals. In 2016 they made their debut at Norwich Playhouse with the Sondheim musical Into The Woods.

Sound Ideas set their production of Into The Woods in a magical bookshop. They were keen not to give too much away in their poster and flyer design, but wanted to hint at their style through a few promotional photographs.

With the help of talented illustrator, April Nash, we created a square format souvenir brochure that looked like an old fashioned book. This, being displayed at the theatre, was much more in line with their production style.

As part of this project we took headshots for each of the 19 cast members and the 7 piece creative team. By taking the headshots ourself we were able to ensure that the brochure looked uniform and sleek.
