SWEENEY TODD
Branding, design and creative direction across print, marketing and online graphics for Sweeney Todd: The Warehouse Experience.
We’ve been working with Sound Ideas Theatre Company from the very beginning. Over time we have evolved the visual identity graphically and through brand guidelines that we have established across their entire work and range of designs.
Sound Ideas is a Norwich based theatre company that strives to create new and unique interpretations of some of our most loved musicals and Sweeney Todd was certainly different. The brand ethos is to push the boundaries, something reflected in their work and ultimately in our designs for them.
Sweeney Todd is a story of corruption, consumption and inequality as well as society’s insanity. Sound Ideas set their production in 1984 and we wanted to reflect hints at this in the design work to give prospective audience members a flavour of what to expect at their warehouse experience..
Over a few months we continued to work with Sound Ideas to create the souvenir brochure and headshots for their production and also some elements that were used on stage as part of the performance.
